Kundalini Yoga is the yoga of awareness, an ancient system of breathing, chanting, and movement that allows us to awaken to our true self or sat nam. Taught in secret for centuries, Kundalini Yoga was brought to the West in 1969 by Yogi Bhajan. Kundalini Yoga is a yoga for householders, that is, people who have families and must deal with the everyday stresses of life. The ancient kriyas and meditations practiced in Kundalini Yoga enable us to manage our lives more effectively and with grace.
